Hebridean Grinding Tools
Each of our pestle and mortar sets have been lovingly handcarved by the two of us here on the Isle of Harris, at the outer edges of Scotland.
Following the natural curves and forms of the raw rock, we carve, shape, smooth and polish each piece until it ‘feels’ right. Using these tools harkens back to the age of stone, a piece of the ancient in the modern world.
